Wine writers in China: Hugh Johnson coming to Beijing

Wine importer and distributor ASC is slated to host a dinner in Beijing with writer Hugh Johnson on March 16. Johnson has been writing about wine for five decades–his works include his annual Pocket Wine Book, the autobiography A Life Uncorked, and The World Atlas of Wine (co-authored with Jancis Robinson). And Decanter magazine named him wine person of the year for 1995. The dinner will be held at the Grand Hyatt. A seat costs RMB999.
